Finished Purse

This is the finished purse. I had it with me in a yarn shop yesterday and received a compliment on it. It is truly an original. I hope everybody knitting along creates a unique purse that they enjoy carrying during the hot summer months. If anybody sends a photo, I will put it on the blog!

Very nice Nan! Love the colors. The directions below are great, esp. if someone has never lined a purse before. (Your comment about the one liner "Line the purse" entailing so much more work is so true!)

Lovely purse indeed...I particularly like the colour choice, it makes it very summery ;-)
I am going do knit one too, one day... thanks for the inspiration :)

Beautiful purse Nan. Have it on my to-do list. Think I would like it in some ecru cotton, maybe with a wooden toggle thingy for decoration or a wooden button maybe. Just the thing for summer. The size is great too, not too big or too small. Great work.

I lined a bag once. ONCE :D Never again, it took much longer than the crochet did.

Best wishes, Jackie x
